And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers.

First they came for the Communists,
  and I didn’t speak up,
    because I wasn’t a Communist.
Then they came for the Jews,
  and I didn’t speak up,
    because I wasn’t a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
  and I didn’t speak up,
    because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and by that time there was no one
left to speak up for me.
by Rev. Martin Niemoller, 1945

Pastor Niemöller’s quote applies more today than ever before.
As the is world becoming more and more hostile to Israel, we must aspire to unite the efforts and fight against the delegitimization of Israel world wide.
We must become an united front of all forces that support Israel and stand with Israel. God’s promise to Abraham – “I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” extends a multiplied blessing to all those who bless Abraham and his Seed.
Elie Wiesel has decried the dangers of indifference by saying the following: “Indifference elicits no response. Indifference is not a response. Indifference is not a beginning; it is an end. And therefore, indifference is always the friend of the enemy, for it benefits the aggressor – never his victim, whose pain is magnified when he or she feels forgotten. The political prisoner in his cell, the hungry children, the homeless refugees – not to respond to their plight, not to relieve their solitude by offering them a spark of hope is to exile them from the human memory. And in denying their humanity, we betray our own”.
Many times in the history when the persecution started with the Jewish people the outcome was disastrous as the persecution never did stop with us.
For these reasons the Israel Empowerment Lobby facilitates meetings between Israeli politicians and their counterparts worldwide to promote understanding, friendship and cooperation.
