But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
(Isaiah 45:17)

Humanitarian projects

During the most recent attacks from the Gaza strip, we received many phone calls from Israelis requesting aid. About fifty Grad rockets and Kassam projectiles were fired daily on cities adjacent to the Gaza strip, severely disrupting the lives of Israelis and making normal living impossible.

In spite of the tremendous success of the Iron Dome missile defense system that intercepted about 90% of the rockets fired into Israel, people remained under terrible stress, as they had to constantly be on alert to run for the bomb shelters nearly every 15 minutes.

The representatives of several municipalities approached us as they urgently needed to evacuate groups of children from Ashkelon, Ashdod and Bnei Aish. The idea was simple—load the children onto buses for a day of fun at the Safari park in Ramat Gan or elsewhere to give them and their parents a bit of relief for a day, during which they could escape the ugly realities of war.

A single bus to transport 50 children would amount to $600 per day, and we needed 10 buses right there and then. To our great joy the response from our friends was immediate and generous. Not only did we receive enough donations to cover the costs of the buses, but we could also purchase a vast amount of food baskets which we delivered to disabled people at their homes as soon as the ceasefire was declared. We also invited more than 500 Holocaust Survivors and World War II veterans to a special event where we blessed them with generous food vouchers. We’ve conducted many similar projects in the past.

Helping New Immigrants in Need

The Israel Empowerment lobby continues to work rigorously in providing to the needs of new immigrants in need, especially those who hail from the Ukraine, and who had escaped the war and bombings in the Eastern Ukraine.
Israel absorbs almost 5,000 Jewish immigrants from the Ukraine annually. Most of these people had to abandon all of their assets—homes, properties and personal belongings in order to give their children a chance at a better life, away from the terrors of war.
The Israel Empowerment lobby is honored to be among those who had welcomed these immigrants to Israel, by providing them with crucially important advice and financial assistance. Above all our intention was to provide a safe haven for them where they know they can get assistance whenever they need it.

Helping New Immigrants

The Israel Empowerment Lobby aided new immigrants with cash cards, as well as presenting them with small gifts for the Jewish new year. Most of these immigrants arrived in Israel with barely anything to their names, so any help we could provide them was genuinely appreciated.
Dr. Eli Nacht, Chairman of the Israel Empowerment lobby thanked Beit Hallel Congregation for the blessed work that they are doing, and during his speech he also posted out that none of the humanitarian aid would be possible without the support from our Christian brothers and sisters abroad.
Throughout these difficult times the covenantal relationship between Christians and the Jewish nation proves to be as strong and faithful as ever.
